Cubo's Villa Las Lagunas de Azahar is an idyllic private vacation retreat in the beautiful Valle de los Manantiales; located in rural Spain near Coín and lovingly restored by a world-renowned architect.
Eagles soar over this sprawling rural property, with a private lake, streams, avocado and citrus orchards... There is so much to see and explore.
The paved road to Cubo's Villa Las Lagunas de Azahar is in excellent condition, please drive carefully - access to the lodge is 200m of unpaved horizontal road through the pine forests to the "hidden valley". The views on the drive are spectacular and the location at the end of your drive is well worth the drive.
When you arrive at the villa, you know you are arriving somewhere quite special... This spacious 340m², 100 year old property was recently renovated and extended to exacting standards and is located in its own private nature reserve of 55,000 m2 in the Valley of the Springs. It has mountain and lake views.
The villa in Coín is comfortable and spacious, it has 6 bedrooms distributed in 3 houses with capacity for up to 14 people. Two of the houses are opened by default and THE THIRD HOUSE IS OPENED FROM THE 9TH PERSON, OF LEGAL AGE AND WITH A PRICE SUPPLEMENT.
The living room in the main house comprises an open plan TV room with a large screen TV. This room is connected to the dining room that opens onto the outdoor terrace that overlooks the pool. Next to the dining area is the fully equipped modern kitchen: 4 burner stove (2 x gas, 2 x electric), electric oven, microwave, coffee maker, dishwasher and marble worktops. Please note that the washing machine is located in a separate utility room. The double room is also located on the ground floor, and has an en-suite shower room.
On the first floor there is a private living room and a private bathroom with bathtub, shower, double sink. Through this hall it leads to a spacious master bedroom with air conditioning and 2 single beds.
The fabulous swimming pool is surrounded by extensive Mediterranean gardens that are an oasis of tranquility. It has wide and soft Roman-style steps, ideal for children and older guests. Ample sunbeds are provided and if you need it, the shade from the trees will keep you cool on hot summer days.
This villa is one of the few accommodations in the area that has a Sauna, it can be hired for units of 1 hour. The 1-hour unit costs €50.00.
The sprawling estate boasts 2 lakes and an extensive avocado orchard that has been cultivated for hundreds of years with the original terraces in place. The owners also have a vegetable garden where they grow many of their own vegetables.
